AFP - SYDNEY (AFP) - The Australian airline Qantas lay off 1,500 of its employees worldwide as a result of high oil prices and market conditions, announced on Friday its chief executive, Geoff Dixon. Also remove the 22 oldest aircraft of its fleet.
